About Music Mart
Hi! I am Jeff Allen. I have been a professional musician singing, songwriting, recording, and managing working bands around WA since The early 1990s. In 2020 my partner Danni and I started Valley Heights Music in Northam WA. We initially started teaching piano, guitar, singing and performance skills to the hills and wheatbelt regions of WA Over the years we have expanded our tuition to include drums, piano and keyboard, We expanded our business to include small retail, events management, venue booking, instrument service and repairs... basically anything musical or within the entertainment industry.
In early 2026, we were blessed with the opportunity to take on this incredible music store and school known for so long as Music Mart.
In the early 1990's Music Mart - a small music shop which had been servicing the Midland area since 1970 was bought out by the wonderful Andrew and Kathryn Neve. Together, they grew the business into the point of call for all musicians in the region.
Music Mart is a family style music shop. Our aim is to cater for beginners to professional musicians. Instruments are generally priced for students and teachers, beginners and up to working musicians. On offer are bass guitars, acoustic and electric guitars, amplifiers, drum kits, digital pianos, keyboards, percussion instruments, wind instruments, violins and PA equipment. We stock well known and trusted brand names such as Fender, Yamaha, Tama, Maton, Casio, Gretsch, Ibanez and Roland. We offer our customers good products along with great service and helpful information. Music Mart has a large range of print music and tutor books available for most instruments.
